McCachran was appointed the administrator with the will annexed was qualified and received letters tutamentary. State of North Carolina April 6, 1836 Cabarrus County In the name of God amen. I, Dion C. McCachran of the county and state aforesaid being in ill health, but of sound mind and memory and calling to mind the mortality of my body, do make and ordain the following disposition of my property and all sight in property, this instrument to have office at my decease. Item first: I ordain these my negro Simos be the property of my father Hector McCachron and I hereby bequeath said boy to him. Item 2nd: I also ordain that all right of property which I hold or am entitled to hold in and by the last will and testament of my father shall and is hereby relinquished in case I do not live or otherwise ordain.
