I, George Miller, of North Carolina and County of Cabarrus, being of a sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say-- I give and bequeath to my granddaughter, Christina Barrier the following named negroes, to wit, Daffeny and her children, Edmund, Mich, Susan, and Charlotte together with their increase to her and her heirs forever. It is further my will that in the event my said granddaugther, Christina should never marry, at her death the right and title to the said negroes shall revert to my estate and be divided as my other property hereinafter directed. It is further my will, that all the balance of my property both real and personal after my death shall be divided and distributed according to the laws of North Carolina, relating to the estate of intestates with this exception alone, my said granddaughter, Christina shall not be entitled to receive any part of my estate as heir at law of Esther Barrier, decd., other than bequeathed to her in this will. It is my further will that when this will and testament may be offered for probate, that the county court do appoint two or more discreet persons as administrators with the will annexed to execute the same. And I do hereby declare and ordain this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking and annulling all other wills heretofore made.
