Church, who passed away Christmas morning. She was the mother of five children, W. W. Church, of Bethol, Ohio, Mrs. G. B King, Bethol, Ohio, J. C. Church of Shulls Mills, Mrs. A. J. Mclean of Upton and Ellie Church of Collettsville, and grandmother of thirty grandchildren and great grandmother of sixteen children. Mrs. Church was 83 years, 8 months and 29 days old. Mrs. Church was a member of the Baptist church of Globe at her death. She was a loyal member to her church throughout her life. Mrs. Church was the daughter of the late Edmond and Marthia Blackburn of Idlewild, Ashe county. At the age of 22 she married James F. Church. They spend the early part of their lives in Western States, Nebraska, Colorado and Idaho. Burial followed in the family cemetery at the old home in Watauga county.
