M. Coffey BLOWING ROCK – Funeral services for Mrs. R. M. (Emma Eliza) Coffey, 66, of Blowing Rock, were conducted at the First Baptist church here this afternoon at two o’clock. She died at her home Wednesday at 5 p.m. after an extended illness. The Rev. H. M. Alley, pastor was assisted by the Rev. Ben Lee Ray in conducting the rites. Burial was in the White Springs cemetery in Watauga county. She was born in the Buffalo Cove section of Caldwell county on Mary 25, 1886, daughter of the late Rufus and Rebecca Story Robbins. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Larney Hollars and Mrs. Ernest Banner; two sons, Howard and Ronda; five grandchildren and one great- grandchild; a half-brother, Lee Robbins; and three half sisters, Mrs. Frank Simmons and Mrs. Bill Henson, all of Blowing Rock, and Mrs. Bertha Dula of Charlotte.
