Within a few weeks, Mrs. Green married one Franklin, with whom, it is said, she had been on too intimate terms. Suspicion was aroused and the body of Green was taken up, the stomach being removed and sent to the State Chemist for analysis. This seems to have resulted in the discovery of a quantity of arsenic in the stomach. Sheriff Boyd received instructions by wire on Saturday to arrest the parties thought to have been implicated in the affair. Albert Franklin, husband No. 2, had just served a six month term in the county jail, and was arrested - the charge being murder - as he stepped out the jail door. Mrs. Franklin was also placed in jail here yesterday, both to await their trial at the spring term of court.
