Officiating at the rites were the Rev. Ray Hendrix and the Rev. W. C. Payne. Burial was made in Middle Forks cemetery. She died at the Blowing “Rock Hospital on Monday evening after a heart attack. She had been in failing health for the last several years. Mrs. Shore lived in the Flanders Fork section, near Flat Top Mountain, four miles North west of Blowing Rock. Her husband, Miller Shore, well-known farmer of that section, died 14 years ago. She was born in Watauga county, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Miller Norris. She was a member of the Cool Springs Baptist church for many years. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Edmisten, are another daughter, Mrs. Ruth Austin of the home at Flanders Fork; four sons, Paul and Howard shore, both of Hudson; Glen Shore of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Ray Shore of Shady Valley, Tenn.; 30 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
