Marriages, Book 1, Page 10, Entry 70:
 
Calvin Barlow                 North Carolina Caldwell County
		I, Harrison Turner, a Justice of the Peace in & for said
To		County, do certify that I solemnized the rites of
        	matrimony between Calvin Barlow & Ritta Bentley
Ritta Bentley	& joined them together as man and wife on the 4th of
		March 1854.

Contributor's Note:
 
Calvin Barlow was the son of Joseph Barlow and Louisa Laxton Barlow, 
originally of Wilkes County, NC, later of Caldwell County, NC.  The parents of 
Ritta Bentley are unknown.  Calvin was born about 1829 and died about 1897-
1898.  Ritta was born about 1836 and died about 1877-1880.  Calvin and Ritta 
had six known children: 

Mary Demarious (Demaurice/Demarres) -b. 30 Jan 1856; m. Milas Keller-31 Dec 
1874-Watauga Co. NC; d. 07 July 1927-Caldwell Co., NC (death certificate is 
recorded in Caldwell County, NC as Demarres Keller).
 
Lauretta (Louretta) - b. about 1862.
 
William - b. about 1865.
 
Julius - b. 26 Nov 1866-Mecklenburg Co., NC; m. Temperance (Tempie) McClurd-
about 1888; d. 29 Nov 1951-Watauga Co., NC. 
 
Caroline (Carrie) - b. about 1873; m. William R. Crump-14 Oct 1894-Caldwell 
Co., NC; d.-Unknown.
 
John - b. about 1877
