This certifies that the rite of Holy Matrimony was
celebrated between Henry A. TARKINGTON of Tyrrell Co. and
Rebecca SAWYER of Pasquotank Co. on June 14, 1857 at E.
City, N.C. by J.J. Landsell, E. City, N.C.

MARRIAGES

Thomas N. TARKINGTON and Pauline S. ROBINSON were married
January 18, 1883.

G.G. FEREBEE and Mary Eliza TARKINGTON were married January
9, 1884.

William H. TARKINGTON and Dora MEGGS were married December
22, 1889

George WILLIAMS and Maggie A. TARKINGTON were married March
5, 1893,

BIRTHS

William Henry, son of Henry TARKINGTON and Rebecca his wife,
was born January 9, 1859.

Thomas Walter, the son of Henry TARKINGTON and Rebecca his
wife, was born April 1, 1860

Mary Eliza, the daughter of Henry TARKINGTON and Rebecca his
wife, was born March 19, 1863

William Henry, the son of Henry TARKINGTON and Rebecca his
wife, was born July 6, 1866

Margaret Ann, the daughter of Henry TARKINGTON and Rebecca
his wife, was born December 1, 1868.

Rebecca SAWYER, the daughter of Jeremiah SAWYER and Eliza
his wife, was born May 5, 1840.

DEATHS

William Henry, the son of Henry TARKINGTON and Rebecca his
wife, died June 14, 1860

William Henry, the son of Henry TARKINGTON and Rebecca his
wife, died May 22, 1894.

Mary Eliza, the daughter of Henry TARKINGTON and Rebecca his
wife, died October 30, 1899.

G.G. FEREBEE died September 23, 1885

Gertrude, the daughter of G.G. FEREBEE and Eliza his wife,
died September 26, 1880.

Note: Even though Henry was from Tyrrell Co. and Rebecca was
from Pasquotank Co. they lived and are buried in Camden Co.
on Lamb's road on property now owned by Della Gregory, an
heir.
