EDITH ELIZABETH McPHERSON JOHNSON

  SMITHFIELD - A funeral service was held Monday, May 13 for Mrs. Edith 
McPherson Johnson, 72, in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 
3 p.m.

  Burial was in Memory Gardens. Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield had charge.

  Pallbearers were: Oscar Betts, Joseph Riffle, Gaye H. Williams, Harold 
Pritcard, Henry Trotman and Charlie Hurdle.

  A native of South Mills, N.C., she was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of 
Latter-day Saints.

  Surviving is a daughter Mrs. Lois Hooper of Smithfield.

  In Lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made to Missionary 
Fund of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Franklin, Va.
