The Edenton Gazette  Nov. 25, 1828
   MARRIED, on Wednesday evening last, the 6th inst., by the REV. MR. ROUSE, 
at her residence in Brooklyn, MRS. DIANA FISHER, one of the few remaining 
lineal descendants of the old and respectable family of RAPELYE of Long Island 
to the HON. LEMUEL SAWYER, one of the Representatives in Congress from the 
State of North Carolina.

[Note: Census records reveal he was a resident of Camden, N.C.]
