His Excellency the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of His 
Majesty's Council was Pleased to Order a new Commission of the Peace to issue 
for Carteret County, constituting and appointing Thomas Lovick, Joseph Bell 
Senr, Enoch Ward Arthur Mabson, James Winright, Richard Rustill Senr, Saml 
Chaddock, David Shepperd Junr, Joseph Bell Junr, Charles Cogdell Cary Godly, 
Nicholas Hunter, John Chilherall Esqrs Justices of the Peace for and within 
the said County.
