Died

On the 9th inst. at his farm near Beaufort, Carteret County, Mr. Robert 
Whitehurst, aged 73 years and it may be said of him with as much propriety as 
of any other person, that he was an honest man and a real christian, venerable 
for his virtues. He died as he had lived, without an enemy in the hope of a 
happy immortality.
