(16)  A.P. (1756) - While 1756 may be the oldest legible date, if not 
the oldest marker, it is certainly not the oldest grave. Chances are 
good that it will never be known just which grave is the oldest. The 
earliest records of the cemetery were kept by the established church, 
the Church of England. During the Revolution, some Anglicans loyal to 
King George III fled, taking Burying Ground records with them. A.P. is 
possibly Abigail Parker, child of Reuben and Jane Parker.
