Carteret County, NC - Will of Thomas Casey, 1767 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ North Carolina } Carteret County} This Day personally appeared before me George Gibbons one of His Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid William Keais and gave his affirmation and Declared that being at the House of Elizabeth McNaire where Thomas Casey lay sick and seemed in a dolefull situation, and the sd William Keais mentioned to him if he had made any will and if not he thought it was proper he should - his answer was that there was no occasion for that and should he do otherwise then with what ever was left after his debts was paid should be his Brothers William Caseys who was then present and further the Deponent Sayeth Not Taken before me this 10th?
