In the matter of the estate of Mahala Bass (deceased) RC Phelps being duly 
sworn desposeth and say that Isom Phelps and the subscribing witnesses in the 
above named will is dead and RC Phelps knows the handwriting on the said 
deceased Ison Phelps after seeing him rite and has now in his possession 
communication from him as fully confident that the signature to the above will 
is his own.  RC Phelps

HF Brandon being duly sworn witness the sig of J
Powre (decd) same as above HF Brandon
