JOHNSTON & O’HARA

        Vs.

JAMES G. CHALMERS & Co.

Original Attachment, Returned, “executed by summoning THOMAS GATEWOOD, THOMAS 
RUFFIN and STEPHEN D. WATKINS, Garnishee”

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, JAMES G. 
CHALMERS and WILLIAM D. WILLSON, are  not inhabitants of this State. It is 
therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for three successive 
weeks in the Raleigh Minerva, that unless the said defendant appear at the 
next term of this Court  to be held for the County of Caswell on the 2nd  
Monday in April next  and defend against said suit, judgment will be entered 
against him.
