COUNTY 
Jan.  Term, 1813

GEORGE FINDLEY

        Vs.

JAMES SHELTON, JOSEPH SPEED and his wife, ELIZABETH; DAVID SHELTON; NANCY 
SHELTON and HENRY SHELTON, heirs at law of DAVID SHELTON, deceased.

Petition to Build a Mill

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that in this suit the defendants 
are not inhabitants of this State, it is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for three successive weeks in the Raleigh Minerva, that 
unless the said defendants appear at the next term of this Court to be held 
for the County of Caswell on the second  Monday in April  next  to plead, 
answer or demur to the said petition, judgment will be taken pro confesso,  
and entered accordingly.
