I thought some one else might get the benefit of these. These court records are very interesting. I would recommend anyone take the time to read them. Ottained by the said John Hensley against the said Nathaniel Williams to Commard them and every of them to bring up all the papers and knowings reputing the warrant judgment and execution to the real court to be held for this county to be examined and censored by this court. Ordered that Tillman Dixon, William Kennon, John Humphries, John Carman, Andrew Harrison, Anthony Samuel, Gabriel Lea, Samuel Johnston, John Campbell, John McFarland, William Sargeant Junior, John McMullin, Joseph Palmer, Daniel Malone, William McKipock, Edward Henley, Cartor Lea, James Rankin, William Lockhart, Samuel Kelly, William Gooch, William Muzzle, John Surratt, George Malone, Daniel Merritt, Drury Jones, William Bailey, John McAder and Thomas Graves be appointed jurors to next court, and that they sheriff summons them accordingly. Ordered that John Summers, Thomas Jeffreys, Benjamin Douglas, John Currie, Thomas Neily, William Rainey, and Nathaniel Malone be appointed jurors to Hill Co, court, Superior term 1788. Ordered that James Montgomery be appointed overseer of the road from from the road croping county line Creek into Dixis Ferry Road with the farmer hand to work thereon. Ordered that Greenwood Payne be allowed 32 shillings for his attending this court four day a constable. Ordered that Harbrose Arnold be allowed 32 shillings for attending the grand jury four days this court.
