I thought some one else might get the benefit of these. These court records are very interesting. I would recommend anyone take the time to read them. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Runkin Harrelson came into court and choose Jacob Ball his guardian he having entered into bond with John Rogers and Saro Sand securities in the sum of one hundred fifty poounds for his faithful performance thereof. Joseph Aldridge came into court and made oath that he was over the age of 60 years therefore ordered that he be exempted from paying a poll tax in future. Ordered that John Allison be exempted from paying a poll tax in future Ordered that Saro Saro be appointed guardian to Herman Haralson he having entered into bond iwth John ROdger and Jacob Bull securities in the sum of one hundred fifty pounds for his faithful performance thereof. Ordered that John Rogers be appointed guardian to anderson Haralson he having entered into bond with Sard Saro and Jacob Bull securities in the sum of one hundred fifty pounds for his faithfull performance thereof. Tyne Harris Junior or Richard Simpsons administrator appeals the following jury sworn to witt, William Tapp, John Johnston, Samuel Moore, George Olham, Joshua Boyd, Carter Lea, Charles Trim, _rosis Bradshaw, J. Warrin, Will Parr, Benjamin Turner, Joseph Smith. ordered that Wynn Dixon be appointed overseer of the road from Henry Dixon's to the Likc Fork of Moons Creek in the room of Will Kinnon with the following hand to witt, William Kennon, Sepe Perkins, Davide Pendergrass, John Graves Junior, Thomas Poore, James Sharo, John Pendergrafs, John Foster, John Long, Zachariah Long, Drury Alfred, Thomas Miles, Will Lyons and Robert Lyon.
