These are just a portion of the records for a more accurate record, please read the original records. --------------------------------------------------------------------- An account from Steward Tasty to John Buston against persons was duly returned to court by the executed and to be recorded. --------------------------------------- The last will and testament of Benjamin Shelton was duly proved in open court by the oath of Peter Ruask one of the subscribing witnessess for motion ordered to be recorded in the same time Rebuah Shelton the ? ? Executrix qualified to the last will and letters Testimony was filed accordingly. ---------------------------------------- Inventory of the estate of Henry Davis deceased was duly returned to court by the executors and in motion ordered to be recorded. ---------------------------------------- An Inventory of the estate of John Hughes was duly returned to court by Mary Hughes the administrator for motion ordered to be recorded. ---------------------------------------- An Inventory of the estate of Henry Batsugh deceased was duly returned to court by Elisabeth Batsugh executrix and on motion ordered to be recorded. --------------------------------------- An account of the sale of John Rice deceased was duly returned to court by John Adams administrator and on motion ordered to be recorded. --------------------------------------- Christopher Damoron William Lea released from their fine imposed on them yesterday. -------------------------------------- Ordered that Thomas Jouitt be appointed guardian Joe Green Lee Brown he having entered into bond with Richard Limpson ? and John Somers in the sum of five hundred pounds. ------------------------------------- Ordered that John Mitchell be fined twenty shillings for contempt to the court in not attending as a juror when lawfully summoned. ------------------------------------ Ordered that Thomas Wiley be released from his fine of yesterday for his not attending as a juror. ------------------------------------ John Yancey vs Calib Wright and Jocob Wright Debt payment. The same jury as N.C. charged, find the bond net paid and that it is of the value of 30,0,0 pounds and appears the plaintiff damages to one pound sive shillings and five pence and costs. ----------------------------------- Ordered that John Somers, Solo Parker, Thomas Boatain, James Currie be appointed jurors to Hillsborough Supreme court to be held the 6th day of Oct next and that the sheriff summon them accordingly. --------------------------------- William Lambert vs. Warren Bogges. It is ordered by our said court that Richard Hill one of the Justices for said county appear at our next court to show cause why he hath not returned to county the papers in the abose mentioned cause that said Richard is required to return the same to our next court. -------------------------------- State of North Carolina, Caswell Co. It appears to the court that it will be to the interest of the orphan Robert Harris deceased that all the perishable property of the said Robert be sold except the negroes. ------------------------------ The state vs William Hall. The defendant pleads not guilty. The following jury sworn to wit.
