I thought some one else might get the benefit of these. These court records are very interesting. I would recommend anyone take the time to read them. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Ordered that William Lea Senior, Lawson Vanhook, Johon Atkinson, Thomas McNeil, John Lea, and Zackariah Lea, John Lea, John Black, Daniel McFarland, John Moore, Goodloe Harrin, Archibald Campbell, Daniel Dunion, Hugh Brnith and Willism Stone be appointed partisters for ? Saurence Distitute. Ordered that Mr. John Lea be allowed his account ammounting to 20 pounds 3. 10 for ? services as account filed to be out of the county. Ordered that Colonel James Sanders be allowed 8 pounds 2 shillings to being a full compensation for his services a commissioner in rording the county line. Ordered that David Shelton be appointed overseer of the road from Andrew Warwick to the J. Shelton's mill. Ordered that Col Sames Sanders be appointed overseer of the road from the Virginia Line to Sander's road to David Shelton's Mill with all ?. Ordered that Captain William Lea be appointed as overseer of the road from the Chappel to Charles Steven's with ?. Ordered that the followying jury be appointed to view lay out a road from Hart's road beginning near Edward Stringers to Dix's road near William Graghams to wit, David Roper, Michael Montgomery, Thomas Stare, Samuel Henderson, George Grayham, george Summers, William Hubbard, Brigg Karney, Wyatt Stubblefield, John Rice, ?
