Dixon, Thomas Dixon, ---Rector & wife, Sarah F. Rector, ----Gray and wife Mary A.,-----Richards and wife Cornelia E., William R. Vanhook, Jacob T. Vanhook, David B Vanhook, Martha A Vanhook, and David F. Vanhook, the defendants above named, if to be found in your county to appear at the office of the clerk of the Superior court for the County of Caswell, within 20 days after the service of this summons on them, exclusive of the day of such service, and answer the complaint a copy of which will be deposited in the office of the clerk of the Superior Court of the county, within ten days from the date of this summons, and let them take notice that if they fail to answer the said complaint within that time, the plaintiffs will a pply to the court for the relief demanded in the complaint. Vanhook, who are defendants in the above action are not residents of this State (A Proceeding for the sale of real estate for partition). It is therefore ordered by the court that publication to be made in the Milton Chronicle, a newspaper published in the county of Caswell, for six weeks for the non resident defendants, requiring them to appear, plead answer or demur to the complaint within the time required by law or judgement (pronounced?) will be had against them and the case heard by ex parte to them.
