died Sunday October 21, 2001 at 6:00 am at Danville Regional Medical Center in 
Danville, Va.
born to the late Simpson and Lucy Johnson Brown on 1-19-1921 in Caswell Co, NC. 
married the late Irvin C Hughes, Sr on 9-7-1940 they had 10 kids
Educated in Caswell schools. Member of New Haven Church.
Cherishing her memory are;
sons; Irvin Chestley Hughes,Jr(Willie Mae), Richard (Mildred), Leon, Curtis 
(Lois), Gregory (Sylvia).
daughters; Linda Faulkner (Sam), Gladys H Wheeler, Mae Alice Woods (Leroy).
sisters; Mae Ella Garland (twin sister), Geneva Jones, Josephine Johnson
preceded in death by 2 children, 1 sister, 4 brothers 
Interment..New Haven Cemetary
