JAMES THOMAS KILBY

JAMES T. KILBY DIES AT HOME in MILTON, N.C.
  Suffolk, Aug. 27 - News was received here today of the death in Milton, 
N.C., of James Thompson Kilby, a native of Suffolk. Mr. Kilby was the son of 
the late Virginius Smith Kilby and Mrs. Diana Ophelia Saunders Kilby. He 
married Miss Mary Claiborne, of Danville, who preceded him to the grave. He 
survived by a son, Claiborne Kilby, of Milton; a daughter, Mrs. Henry Work, 
of Richmond; a sister, Mrs. John W. Page, of Portsmouth; an aunt, Mrs. 
Hersey Woodward of Suffolk, and several grandchildren. He is also survived 
by a number of cousins in Suffolk.
