MARY CLAIBORNE KILBY

  DANVILLE - Mrs. Mary Claiborne Kilby, 67, wife of J.T. Kilby, formerly of 
this city, died at Milton, N.C., Wednesday after a long illness. Funeral 
services were held at the Milton Presbyterian Church Thursday afternoon.
  Mrs. Kilby was a daughter of Colonel William Clarke and Mrs. Martha 
Claiborne Clark, and was born at Hawthorne in Pittsylvania County. Besides her 
husband, she is survived by a son, V.C. Kilby of Milton, and a daughter, Mrs. 
Harry Ward of Richmond.
