Died

Suddenly at his residence near Caswell Court House on the 27th ultimo, James 
Yancey, Esq., the only surviving brother of the late Bartlett Yancey, 
deceased. Mr. Yancey was for several years a worthy representative of his 
county to the legislature, and was at the time of his death the Chairman of 
the County Court of Caswell. In the death of this respectable citizen, the 
Court and the county of Caswell have lost much; but the loss of his 
disconsolate widow and five small children is incalculable.
