I, Zillah Blackwell of the county of Caswell and State of N. Carolina. Being of sound mind and reason do constitute and make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following (To-wit), First, I desire to five my soul to almighty God who gave it me., and as to my worldly good I give as follows: It is my will and desire that all my just debts be lawfully paid by my Executor hereafter name. I give to my son John Blackwell one negro girl and her increased named Jinny and one square walnut table. It is my will and desire that my son Thomas Blackwell should have my sugar case. I give to my son Garland Blackwell one candlestand. It is my will and desire that all the ballance of my property be equally divided between my sons and daughters, now living, to-wit Carter Blackwell, Levi Blackwell, Thomas Blackwell, Garland Blackwell, John Blackwell, my daughter Polley who married James Watts and Ketturah who married Samuel Watts. The reason of not giving anything to Lewis Malone's children and my son Robert Blackwell heirs is that my husband Robert Blackwell, Dec'd, gave them their full proportion and I now declare this to be my last will and testament, revoking all others either by word or deed. as witness my hand and seal this fifteenth day of April, eighteen hundred and sixteen.
