of Halifax County, Virginia bequeath to her daughter my wife Christina I 
Garland certain legacies in Negroes, bonds and moeny for me to manage, where as 
to the late disatrous was emancipated the negroes..Mrs. Glen "Will" had $24,964 
in Halifax County, Va and $10,000 in stock and bonds, he holds the balance of 
$4904. Judge Lee decided he was not the testatoe of the, he left his life 
plantation near Milton, NC 930 acres of land.
to daughter C. Victoria Neblet-plantation in Lunenburg County, Va.
brother-late Davis S Garland son in law Thomas a Donoho, executor

The old "Wills" are a challenge to read. I interpreted them the best I could 
and tried to included only useful information to aide in genealogy research. 
The office where these old records are kept has standing room only and they do 
not make copies of the "WILL" because they are old and bound in big books. If 
you need additonal information, I recommend physically viewing the records for 
personal interpretation.
