Elizabeth Keistler vs. John Keistler et al

Petition for Dower

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the 
defendants, James Keistler, Henry Keistler, and Peter Keistler and his wife, 
Priscilla, reside beyond the limits of this State: It is therefore ordered by 
the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte 
Journal notifying said defendant non-resident to be and Appear at our next 
Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for Catawba County at the Court 
House at Newton on the 2nd Monday in June next. 

Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed: Otherwise 
judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter will be heard ex parte will 
be made as to them.
