CATAWBA COUNTY, NC - COURT - Petition for Sale of Land for Partition --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- North Carolina,} In the Probate Catawba County } Court Bostian Bolch and with Mira, Eliza Cook (widow), J. A. Seaboch, Geo. W. Seaboch, Polly Hawn, (widow), Abel Barger and wife Henrietta, and Susannah Seaboch, plaintiffs, vs. Emanuel Hedrick and wife Peggy, William Bryant and wife Elmina, and Melchiah Seaboch, defendants Petition for sale of land for partition, filed by J. F.Murrill, attorney for petitioners, April 8, 1879. It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants are proper parties to this proceeding, having an interest in the land described in the petition and it further appearing that they are non-residents of this State, and cannot be reached by the ordinary process of law. It is therefore ordered that publication be made in the NEWTON ENTERPRISE published in the town of Newton, N. C., once a week for six successive weeks, commanding said defendants to be and appear before the undersigned Judge of Probate, at office, in Newton, on the 26th day of May, 1879, to answer the complaint of the plaintiffs and show cause if any they can, why said land shall not be sold; otherwise judgment PRO CONFESSO will be entered as to them, and the land sold according to prayer of petitioners.
