A. J. HOLLER Funeral services for Mr. ANDREW JACKSON HOLLER were held on August 28, 1932 at 1 o'clock at St. John's Lutheran Church in Statesville. Internment was at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church near Hickory. The services were conducted by the Rev. J. Lewis Thornburg, pastor of St. John's. Mr. HOLLER was born October 3, 1875 in Catawba County near Hickory and was the son of GILBERT AND MARTHA HUFFMAN HOLLER. On October 7, 1897 he married MATTIE IDELLA BUICE. Mr. Holler was a well-known brick and stone mason and contractor. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Claude W. Holler, Pauline H. Witherspoon , Ann H. Spence of Siler City, Lena Mae Holler, Evelyn Holler, Irene H. Pearson of High Point,and Elizabeth H. Pipkin of Statesville. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Della H. Stilwell. Pallbearers were: Messrs. F.P. Troutman, C.L. Gilbert, Clarence Troutman, Hoyt Lippard, M.L. Litaker, A.J. Hoover, L.L. Lanier and J.E. Scroggs. Among out-of-town family and friends attending the funeral services were Mr.& Mrs. W.A. Troutman,Mrs. Siph. White,Mrs. John Troutman, Mr. & Mrs. Clarence Witherspoon, Mr.& Mrs. Loy Witherspoon of Catawba, Miss Mattie Sherrill,Mrs. Espey Sherrill, Mrs. Bowman & daughter, Mrs. Clarence Whisnant, Miss Thelma Williams, Mrs. J.C. Williams, Mr. & Mrs. A.M. Nail, Mr. V.B. McMillan, Miss Gladys Barger, Miss Elizabeth Friday, Miss Anna Rowe, Miss Essie Newton, Mrs. George Sigmond, and daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Matheson, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Ekard and Mr. Len Miller, all of Hickory.; Mrs. Nora Holler and daughter and Mrs. Ted Miller, of Claremont; Mrs. Ida Miller of Conover; and Mrs. Charles G. Holler of Charlotte.
