N. C. "Argus" June 10, 1854
   DIED, at his residence near Catawba County,  on Tuesday, the 23rd ultimo, 
of apoplexy, ROBERT JOHNSTON, ESQ., aged 76 years, six months and seven days. 
For more than 20 years the deceased had been a uniform and consistent member 
of the Presbyterian Church.
