Agnes Graham Stokes, 87, of Hickory, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010, 
at Carolina Rehab Center of Burke.

Born June 4, 1922 in Belle Vernon, PA, she was the daughter of the late 
Catherine Gray Graham and Fred Graham. Mrs. Stokes was a member of St. Luke's 
United Methodist Church in Hickory.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharyn Stokes Lackey of Hiddenite; a son, Keith 
Stokes and wife Marilyn of Hickory; granddaughters, Stefanie Sanchez, Stacia 
Simpson, Ashley Carmichael, Autumn Stokes, and Nicole Ballard; grandsons, Trae 
Stokes,and Erik Stokes; a sister, Betty Roulic; seven great-grandchildren; and 
a number of nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, P.O. Box 50, 
Memphis, TN 38101-9929 or Palliative Care Center & Hospice of Catawba Valley, 
3975 Robinson Rd., Newton, NC 28658.
