In the Name of God: A men. I HARRISON HOUK of Catawba County,and of the State of North Carolina, being weak of Mind but of sound mind, memory and under- standing, I praise be God for the same, do make this my last Will and testament in manner and form following: I give and devise and bequeath unto my two daughters, MILDRED and EFFIE HOUK all personal property,. house-hold and kitchen furniture and my live stock, and 36 acres and 37 poles of land or real estate, already and deeded and bounded as follows: BEGINNING at the post-oak, KILLIAM and the corner and running with EKART'S line S. 25 - 1/2 w. 71 poles to a stake; thence S. 9-1/2 W. 13-3/5 poles to ZEB DEALS Line these with said DEALS line S. E. 15-1/2 poles stone; conor of which school house lot;thence N. 86 E . 15-1/2 poles of stone, thence, S.9-1/2 E. 15-1/2 E-18/25 poles to a hickory; thence with his line 6-1?/poles to a black-oak in ICKARDS line; thence with his line N. 55 W 70 poles to the beginning. And I do further will and bequeath that the balance of my real estate shall be sold and after all my burial expenses are paid that the balance shall be divided between , or among the balance of my heirs, SIDNEY HOUK, ALICE BARGER, ALICE SEABOCK, EMMA HOUK, ALICE SEABOCK, ,MARY FRY and LOU EKARD, and I do appoint my son Sidney Houk, Executor of my last Will and Testament.
