STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA,    COURT  OF EQUITY  CHATHAM COUNTY 
Sept.  Term, 1815

THOMAS FARISH

  Vs.

JOSEPH BRANTLY 


It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that one of the defendants, 
BENJAMIN McDANIEL , is not a resident of this State. It is therefore ordered 
by the court that publication be made for three successive weeks in the 
Raleigh Minerva, that unless the said BENJAMIN McDANIEL appear at the next 
term of this Court to be held for said Chatham County and plead, answer or 
demur to this bill , judgment will be taken pro confesso and heard ex parte  
against him.
