State of North Carolina Dec. 27. To be sold to the highest bidder, at the next superior Court in the town of Hillsborough, on the 27th day of March next pursuant to a resolve of the general Assembly: The iron works on Deep River in the County of Chatham, with the appurtenances thereto belonging, also a large quantity of land containing timber and stone sufficient to support said works, and an inexhaustible fund of excellent Iron Ore. The premises will be shown any one desirous of seeing the same by Captain Balaam Thomson living thereon. Bond, with approved security will be required by the Commissioners.
