He further states that since that time & since the filing of this petition, another committee has been appointed and after allowing all vouchers, they report a balance due the petitioner or some of them as some has been entirely paid off. the amt of one hundred & eighty two dollars or thereabouts which report he begs may be rec'd as part of this his answer but he denies that any more than the sum of one hundred and forty five dollars & 50 cts is due or owing from him as amt aforesaid. Six weeks confined to a sick bed & the balance of the time in a low state of health requiring great attention. $40.23 Account Feb Term 14 day 1825 image 27 To the worshipful the Justices of the court of Pleas & Quarters Session fore1817said County The petition of Urias Jinks, Nancy Jinks, Rebecca Jinks, Allen Jinks, and Delilah Jinks which said Nancy, Rebecca and Delilah are infants under the age of twenty one years who petition by James Woodward their next friend and Guardian to Nancy. Respectfully sheweth that Mary Jinks late of said county died in the year 1817 intestate and without will and having your petitioners the said Urias, Nancy, Rebecca, Allen & Delilah her only children & heirs at law, and that letters of administration on the estate of said deceased was granted to this worshipful court at (blank) Session 1817 to Gabriel Utley, who hath taken upon himself the further of administering the same. That the said deceased was possessed at the time of her death of a large personal estate consisting of horses, hogs, (of the value of fur [sic] hundred dollars or some large sum the whole of which has been sold by the said Gabriel Utley, the Admin, and provend ? thereof still remain in his hand undistributed altho frequent application hath been made to him to pay to your petitioners their respective shares thereof. To the end therefore that the said Gabriel Utley may be decreed to account with pay over to your petitioners their respective shares of their said mother's estate and that the said Gabriel may upon his corporal oath full, true & perfect answers make to the allegations here contained and of the amount of property which came to his hands as Amd as aforesaid, ... what now remains undistributed. This document names their 5 children. Urias was married to Sabry "Sallie" Utley, but I've not found how she related to Gabriel Utley, the executor of Mary's estate.
