STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA    COUNTY COURT OF CHATHAM
November Term, 1808

ARCHELAUS CARLOSS, agent of EDWARD PARKE

  Vs.

ROBERT YOUNG

Original Attachment returned, levied on Grants for lands for one thousand four 
hundred (1,400) acres in Eastern district, also one bound book, Love’s Art of 
Surveying.
It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant ROBERT YOUNG 
is not an inhabitant of this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for three months in the Raleigh Minerva, that unless the 
said defendant appears at the next term of this Court to be held for said 
County on the 2nd Monday in February next and replevy or plead, final judgment 
will be entered against him.
