The Standard of Raleigh, April 13, 1859
STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA -- Chatham County, Court of Pleas and Quarter 
Sessions, February Term, 1859 -- WILLIS POE and others, Executors of JESSE 
POE, dec'd, vs. JAMES POE, JASPER JOHNSON, and the heirs at law of JESSE POE, 
JESSE JOHNSON, dec'd, vs. JESSE POE,dec'd  and others.
  In this case, it being made to appear to the satisfaction of the Court that 
the defendants, JAMES POE and JASPER JOHNSON, and heirs at law of JESSE 
JOHNSON, Dec'd, are non residents of this State, it is ordered that 
publication be made in the Raleigh Standard for six weeks for said defendants 
to appear at the next Term of this court, to be held for the County of 
Chatham, at the Court House in Pittsboro, on the 2nd Monday of May next, and 
then and there to make themselves parties to this issue, if they think proper.
Witness, R. C. COTTON, Clerk of said Court, at office in Pittsboro, the 2nd 
Monday of February A.D. 1859.
