State of North Carolina, Chatham County
Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions February Term, 1859. WILLIS POE and 
others, Executors of JESSE POE, Dec'd VS. JAMES POE, JASPER JOHNSON, and the 
heirs at law of JESSE POE, Dec'd and others. Devisement rel non. In this case 
it being made to appear to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, 
JAMES POE and JASPER JOHNSON, heirs at law of JESSE JOHNSON, dec'd are non 
residents of this state, it is ordered that publication be made in the Raleigh 
Standard for six weeks for said defendants to appear at the next term of 
Chatham at the Court House in  of our said County at office in Pittsborough, 
the second Monday of February A.D. 1859.
