STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA -- Chatham County -- Court of Equity Fall Term 1859
NATHAN A. STEDMAN, ORAN A. STEDMAN, PATSEY KING, NANCY POE, G. W. GOLSTON and 
wife, ELIZABETH, ANDREW J. STEDMAN and others, heirs at law of JOHN C. STEDMAN 
and of THOMAS H. HOLBERT and wife, MARY, WM. W. STEDMAN, STEPHEN STEDMAN and 
ROBERT STEDMAN, the three last infants under twenty one years of age, by their 
guardian and next friend, THOMAS HUEY, ex parte.
 
Pursuant to an order of the Court of Equity for the County of Chatham made at 
Fall Term 1859, the undersigned Clerk and Master will proceed to sell at the 
Court House door in the Town of Pittsboro on the 15th day of November next, 
being Tuesday of County court, the land in the petition mentioned and 
described as "a house and lot in the Town of Pittsboro, with a store house 
attached, and known as the "yellow house" and lot containing one acre. Being 
in the centre of the Town and near the Court House, for business purposes it 
is perhaps the most valuable and desirable lot in the Town. 
 
It is well situated for business of any sort, and is a convenient and eligible 
spot for a good Hotel. The attention of business men is called to this sale.
 
TERMS OF SALE -- A credit of 12 months will be given the purchaser with good 
security entering into bond-bearing interest from date with good security
for the amount of purchase money.
