ELIZABETH BRAY and JOHN HEADON vs. JOSIAH BROOKS In this case it being made to appear to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant JOSIAH BROOKS, is a non-resident of this State, it is ordered that advertisement be made in the Raleigh Standard for six weeks for said defendant, notifying him to appear at the next Term of this Court to be held for the County of Chathamm at the Court House in Pittsboro, on the second Monday of August next, then and there to plead answer or demur to this petition, otherwise judgment pro confesso will be taken as to him.
