Ragland C.C.C. 1805 February Sessions: Chatham Co NC: Ordered that Thomas Rives as a Justice of the Peace and the following three Freeholders Jacob McDaniel, Samuel McDaniel and Jacob Teague lay off and appropriate to Peggy Teague widow and Relict of Edward Teague decd one years provisions and report to next Court. A copy of the minutes Test Thos Ragland C.C. 1805, March 7: Chatham Co NC: We the commissioners appointed by an order of Chatham Court February Session 1805 Do hereby allow Peggy Teague widow of Edward Teague deceased for one years provision Twenty barrels of corn, 540 lbs of pork, 20 lbs of sugar, 4 lbs of coffee and the milk of three cows. In witness our hands and seals this 7th day of March 1805. Thomas Rives, Jacob McDaniel and Samuel McDaniel (I have a copy of the inventory of the estate of Edward Teague.) Additional Comments: Peggy Teague was born a McDaniel, and I suspect that Jacob McDaniel and Samuel McDaniel were her brothers.
