From the November Session of the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, 1854

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that W. Yarborough & Martha 
Buchannon are the only living heirs of Mary Yarborough Dec who was a pensioner 
& that Dec pensioner was a resident of Chatham County State of North Carolina 
for 79 years past & that previous to that time she resided in Halafax [sic] 
County VA & that the said Mary Yarborough died the 8th day of March 1854.
