Know all men by these presents that I Drewry Harrington of the State of South 
Carolina Lankaster County Son of Thomas Harrington Deceased of Halafax County 
State of North Carolina for and in consideration of the Sum of Sixty pounds 
Current money to him in hand paid by Zachariah Harman of the County of Chatham 
State of North Carolina the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath 
granted Bargained Sold assigned Set Over and By these presents Do grant 
Bargain Sell assigns & Set Over unto the Said Zachariah Harman his Heirs & 
assigns all that my part or Share of all the personal Estate of my late Uncle 
Drewry Harrington Deceased of Halafax County No. Carolina of which I am 
Intitled to as Heir at Law or otherwise likewise all the part and Share of 
John Ashley of Winton County State of South Carolina in right of his Wife 
Sarah Whitemell Ashly formerly Sarah Whitemell Harrington the Daughter of Sd. 
Thomas Harrington Decd. Of which the Sd. John Ashly is Intitled to as Heir at 
Law or otherwise in right of his Said Wife Sarah Whitemell Ashley to the only 
proper use and behoof of him the Sd. Zachachariah Harman his Heirs and assigns 
and the Said Drewry Harrington for himself his heirs Exrs. Amrs. do by these 
presents Warrant and Defend the above mentioned parts and Shares of the above 
Estate unto the Sd. Zachariah Harman his Heirs Exrs. Admrs. or assigns forever 
against the Legal Claim or Claims of all manner of person or persons In 
witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this twenty third Day of 
November one Thousand Seven hundred and Eighty Seven.
