CHATHAM COUNTY, NC - DEEDS - Dempsey and wife Michael Rauls to Daniel Murphey

23 Sep 1769, Chatham Co., NC, Dempsey Rauls and Michael his wife convey to
Daniel Murphey of Orange Co., NC, in consideration of 45 pounds, 375 acres
surveyed 2nd of Sept 1761, on both sides of Whiteoak Creek waters of New Hope,
the said Daniel Murphey complying with all the terms of Lord Granville.
Signed: Dempsey Rauls, Mich (x) Rauls.  Names of witnesses not given, but
proved by James Murphey, one of the witnesses Nov. Court 1771 (Daniel left
this land to two sons in his will and they sold it Archibald Cain.)
