Raleigh Standard 28 March 1860
   DIED, at the residence of THOMAS B. LONG, in the County of Chatham, on the 
11th inst., MR. GEORGE DRAKE, in the 77th year of his age. 
   He was born on the County of Chatham, on the 14th day of February, 1783, 
consequently 77 years old, one months and one day old. He wasw a soldier in 
the War of 1812, under the command of CAPT. EVANS of this County. His life was 
mainly devoted to the education of the young.
