Died

In Chatham County on the 3d inst., Mrs. Frances Poe, wife of Mr. Elisha Poe, 
and daughter of Mr. George Dismukes. Her aged parents, numerous brothers & 
sisters and friends are afforded much consolation by the expression which fell 
from her lips when she felt the near approach of death. "I am not afraid to 
die - I long to be with my babes which have gone before me, to join them in 
singing praise to God."
