In Pittsboro recently, Mr. Thomas Ray, a good Mason, a worthy man and exemplary 
christian. The Lodge of which Mr. R. was a member sends us for publication a series

of resolutions expressing its high appreciation of his character as a Master Mason,

a christian and citizen. We receive so many testimonials of this kind to publish 
that we are compelled for the want of space to limit them to a brief notice. We 
should be glad to gratify all if we could.
