John Fesmire & Thomas Craven Executor's Bond, 1801

State of North Carolina  
Chatham County

Know all men by these presents that we John Fesmire, Thomas Craven & Solomon 
Roe & William Campbell of the county state aforesaid are held and firmly bound 
unto John Thompson Esquire Chairman of the County Court of Chatham as to his 
welfare in office in the full and just sum of four hundred pounds to them 
which payment will and truly to be made we bind our selves jointly and 
severalty and each of our joint heirs ex'rs and administrators firmly by their 
presents. In witness our hands and seals this 12th day of Aug't 1801.

The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bounded 
John Fesmire & Thos. Craven by the County Court of Chatham aforesaid nominated 
and appointed administrators of all and singlar the goods and chattels rights 
and credits of Balaam Fesmire Dec'd now if the said do shall will and truly 
execute the trust reposed in him agreeable to the law then this obligation to 
be void otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
